Join us next week for our May club meeting. Morel season is mostly gone and we are now in that in-between season. We may get a chance to observe the Umbrella Polypore, but at the very least after all this rain, we should expect to see several other springtime mushrooms. As always with our club meeting walks, we will set out to collect fungi and discuss various elements of how to interact with them. Whether it be edibility, identification, or any other uses. At the end of each walk, we typically have what’s called a table talk.  Mushrooms of interest will be discussed by those of us who know about them. It will be a great time to learn something new or chime in with things you have learned along the way.  Please come prepared with whatever you need to be comfortable in the woods.
