Virginia Mushroom Hunters Facebook Group
Virginia Mushroom Hunters is a group dedicated to hunting mushrooms in the state of Virginia. This group will be focused on learning, teaching, sharing experiences, and finding mushrooms (obviously) in this state specifically. We are happy to be here to enjoy your mushroom hunts, but please focus on regionalized mycology in the Commonwealth. All skill levels are welcome (and included) here! With that said please keep all identification post to mushrooms found in our state. Also we ask that you post what you think the mushroom is that you are trying to identify, provide the county where it was found and a brief description of the environment. Some group admins and moderators have 12+ years of knowledge of the species found in Virginia and will strive to educate our growing community! It should go without saying that ALL suspected spam will be deleted without hesitation and negativity WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IN ANY WAY!! Only good vibes here and like always, spread the myco love 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄
